John Reilly is a 5th Degree Black Belt and has trained in Taekwon-Do for almost 20 years. John was the first student from Mr Ram's school to achieve Black Belt, doing so at the age of 15, taking just 2 years and 9 months to achieve this.
John has been a multiple National and International medalist in all events, and is also a former member of the Scottish National Squad that won a Gold Medal at the Four Nations Championships in Dublin 1995. John promoted to 5th Degree at the age of 29.

Kris Ram is a Third Degree Black belt and he founded Hillpark School of Taekwon-Do in 1989. He was a student at the Taekwon-Do Academy in Renfrew Street, Glasgow in the 70's and 80's where he was instructed and graded by the Pioneer of Tae Kwon-Do in the United Kingdom; Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha IXth Degree.

He is a very dedicated man and has on numerous occassions put the Club before his own self interests. He teaches Taekwon-Do as it was written in the Encyclopedia, not for profit but to help others experience the benefits of Tae Kwon-Do.

I cannot help but be biased, but if you want to learn Taekwon-Do, Mr. Ram is a truly unique Instructor who will teach you more than just how to fight.
